Inez H. Gassett (Randall) of Halifax, passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010. She was 92 years old. The wife of the late Oscar Gassett, she was the town Librarian for 22 years, retiring in 1985.She is survived by her son Walter and his wife Dagmar Gassett of Plymouth, son Robert and his wife Patty Bolz-Gassett of Camden,ME. Also survived by her sister Arlene Lovell of Duxbury, nine grandchildren and 13 great grand children.
A memorial service will be held at the Halifax Congregational Church Plymouth St. Halifax on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holmes Public Library, or to the United Church of Christ Library Fund.
