Mary Duckett, a resident of So. Meadow Village in Carver, MA, died at 86 years of age on June, 19th. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Douglas W. Duckett and her parents Dennis and Sabina Feeney. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Hebert and husband Tony of Edmond, OK, son Douglas D. Mrs. Duckett was a native of Quincy, MA and graduated from No. Quincy High School in 1943. She was employed for twenty years by the Bay State Gas Co. in Springfield and later Brockton. However, she found her greatest joy in raising a grateful family of seven. This could only be accomplished through great devotion and a wonderful sense of humor. These qualities, along with her strength and compassion, will be missed sorely by them and the myriad friends she has gathered throughout the years.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday June 23rd from 3-7 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St. (Rte 58) Carver MA.
