Obituary of Donald T. Ferguson

Donald T. Ferguson of Kingston passed away June 18th at the age of 80. He was the beloved husband of Joyce A. (Eales) Ferguson of Kingston. Donald is also survived by his daughter Penny (Ferguson) Aldrovandi of Plympton and his sister Edna Barrett of Billerica. He is will be leaving behind his 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son Donald R. Ferguson and his sisters Lillian and Violet. Donald was an avid golfer and he owned the Dairy Queen in Kingston for over 25 years. He was a member of the Elks Club and past President of the Lions Club in Kingston. Donald and his wife split their time between Sarasota and Kingston. Calling hours will be held Tuesday June 22nd from 5-8 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home Wednesday June 23rd at 10 am for a funeral service. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Donald’s name to the American Cancer Society 1115 W. Chestnut St. Brockton MA 02301.
