Time didnt ease the pain it just put more gaps in between these episodes of pure heartache. The legacy of the man, the father you were, never dies. Your great grand babies know your face from memories we shared as I grew up.. They understand your importance and you live on within us. Forever my hero... I pray you are right beside me as I grow into this woman I so hope you're proud of. Keep my spot warm til we meet again ,Grampy. I love you and I miss you !!

Ike and I have been friends most of our lives. We used to play in his sand pile out by his giant swing that his dad made using Telephone poles. We were under school age, so that made us somewhere in the 4-5 year old range when we met. We spent many good times playing, and then driving around the fields with his and my old cars. I will miss Ike.
