Michael W. MacFarlane Jr. beautiful beloved son of Elizabeth and Michael MacFarlane, beloved brother of Kellianne MacFarlane, beloved grandson of Lucy and Peter Case of Duxbury and Catherine MacFarlane of Ft. Myers, Fl. and the late Charles MacFarlane formerly of Scituate. Beloved nephew of Robert Case of Plymouth, John Case of Riverview, Florida Jennifer Case-Pouliot of Kingston, Charles MacFarlane of Plymouth, Karen MacFarlane of Ft. Myers, Fl. and Patricia Campobasso of Ft. Myers, Fl., cousin of Kristen MacFarlane of Plymouth, Erica Gambarini of Plymouth, Ryan MacFarlane of Washington DC, Katie MacFarlane McVeigh of San Diego, CA.Paul Case of Plymouth, Jason Case of Plymouth, Nicholas Campobasso and Conor Campobasso of Ft. Myers Fl. Michael’s carefree spirit, contagious smile and warm heart graced the lives of those who knew him. He was a devoted son, brother, grandson and friend. Michael dedicated each day to his love of adventure, travel, and history and had recently returned from a semester studying abroad in Australia and New Zealand. He was an active brother in Phi Kappa Theta fraternity at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, where he was a senior majoring in history with a minor in political science. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Michael W. MacFarlane Jr. scholarship fund c/o Elizabeth MacFarlane, Rockland Federal Credit Union, 241 Union Street, Rockland, MA 02370. The scholarship fund will benefit Phi Kappa Theta brothers wishing to continue their education. Calling hours will be held Friday April 9th from 4-8 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston MA. A Funeral service will be held at 10am Saturday April 10th at Pilgrim Church in Duxbury MA with a burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Kingston MA.
