Obituary of Robert H. Telless

Robert H. Telless of Carver passed away suddenly February 28th at the age of 82. Robert was a devoted and loving husband of 57 years to Elizabeth M. (Colvin) Telless of Carver, MA. He was a loving and caring father to; Robert W. and his wife Christine of Carver, David A. of Carver, Anne M. of So. Middleboro, Leslie H. and his wife Leisa of Carver, Stephen E. of TX, Sandra E. and her partner Gail of Carver, Brian L. and his wife Linda of IL, and Linda L and her husband Michael Frank of Carver. Robert was a devoted Grandfather to; Bethany Telless, Christine M. DeGowen, Timothy D. Telless, Amanda L. McClelland, Jennifer L. Gadbois, Katelyn E. Telless and Gwen Peterson. Loving Great-Grandfather to 8 Great-Gandchildren. Robert was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. A 50 year Life member, past Treasurer and President of the Carver Firefighters Assoc., Life member and past President of the Plymouth County Forest Wardens and Firefighters Assoc., Life member and past Commander of the Thomas B. Griffith Sons of Union Veterans, Camp 132. He retired after serving 22 years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Environmental Management Agency as a Forest Fire Patrolman and Park Supervisor. He lived for and cherished his family and will be sorely missed by both members of his family and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing or working with him. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Bob’s name to the Carver Firefighters Assoc. Equipment Fund. Calling hours will be held Tuesday March 2nd from 4-7pm at, Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St. (Rte 58) Carver MA. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday March 3rd at 10am at, United Parish Church Main St. in Carver.
