Hi Josh & Family
I extend to you and your family once again, my deepest sympathies on the passing of Dad. I went back this morning and read the article
"The Guy Called Cutler", which is such a fascinating and inspirational story of that "never give up spirit" that made your father such a legendary success and deeply respected figure in all the Communities where his newspapers reached and beyond. He leaves an amazing legacy, of which you and your family will be forever proud and rightfully so. Again, wishing you all the best, as you face the difficult reality of his passing.
Sincerely,
Bruce Young

My husband Don and I send kindest thoughts to the family of David Cutler. His parents, John and Bobbie Cutler, were extraordinary people whom I loved dearly and for whom I wrote Clipper profiles many years ago. How proud they were of their children and how wonderfully David lived up to the Cutler mystique.

I was shocked to hear of David's untimely death. we worked together at the mariners for nearly ten years. he was one of the finest newspapermen I have known. I won't insult him by calling him a journalist for that implies an ivory tower. David was always on the front lines with the rest of us.

My deepest regrets to all of David's family. We fought a lot, growing, we went into the service in different direction. We both came home to Duxbury. The community will miss him.
