Obituary of Eleanor A. Enos

Eleanor A. (Mattos) Enos, of Middleboro, died February 16, 2010 at the Brockton Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was 88 years old. She was the wife of the late Ernest A. Enos of Bridgewater. Born in Gloucester, MA, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Leona A. Mattos. An alumna of Bridgewater State College (1943), she taught school in the E. Bridgewater school system from 1948 - 1958. She was a resident of Bridgewater for over 60 years. An active member of the G.F.W.C, Ousamequin Club of Bridgewater, she served as president from 1986-1988 and 1992-1994. She was the mother of Bruce Enos and Jay Enos and his wife Diane, all of Middleboro; she was Grandmother of Elizabeth Garcia and Great grandmother of Brittanie Garcia of Wareham. She was the sister of the late Robert M. Mattos. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 19th from 2-4 and 6-8:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 20th at 10:00AM at St. Ann's church, 103 N. Main St (Rt. 28) W. Bridgewater. Internment will be at Pine Hill cemetery in W. Bridgewater.
