Obituary of Dorothy J. Garfield

Dorothy J. Garfield of Kingston, February 4, 2010. She was 79 years old. Mrs. Garfield was a Nurse for 30 years, and worked for the Life Center in Scituate. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Kingston Public Library for many years, where she found a letter written and signed by Thomas Jefferson in 1808. Mrs. Garfield was a avid lover of all animals. Loving mother of Debra L. Abraham of FL, Cheryl Bleakney of Kingston, Marc Abraham of Kingston, Scott Aasce of Kingston, Shawn Garfield of Kingston, and the late Bruce Abraham, and Richard Brown. Cherished grandmother of 6, and great grandmother of 7. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6th at 2:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston.
