Obituary of Shirley Kay Cunningham

Shirley Kay (Price) Cunningham of Halifax passed away peacefully at
her home on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at age 66. Beloved wife of Paul
E. Cunningham for 45 years. Loving mother of Allison R. Abreu and
husband Paul of Norton and Jenny O. Barrington and husband Robert of
New York City. Devoted Nana of Lillian and Caroline Abreu and Robert
Barrington IV. Sister of Linda O'Keefe of Lexington, David Price of
Fairhaven, and O. Robert Price of Mattapoisett. She is survived by
many nieces and nephews. Shirley was born in New Bedford and raised
in Mattapoisett. She was a graduate of Fairhaven High School and
earned her BA in fashion design from Massachusetts College of Art. A
memorial service will be held Saturday, February 6 at 11 AM at the
Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main Street,(rte 106) Kingston, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass, 95 Berkeley Street, Boston, MA 02116 and the First Church of Christ,
Scientist; Treasurer’s Office, PO 5-10; 210 Massachusetts Avenue,
Boston, MA 02115.
