Obituary of Rita T. Bombace

Rita T. (Leahy) Bombace, 86, died Feb.1. She was the wife of the late Anthony R. Bombace. She is survived by her daughters Catherine McDermott and her husband Andrew of Halifax,and Rita Hill of Halifax, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. The youngest of ten children, Rita is survived by one sister Katherine Quigley of Dorchester, and many nieces and nephews. Rita served in the US Coast Guard during WWII. She was also an avid Red Sox fan. Funeral services will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Rt. 14, Pembroke center on Fri. Feb.5 at 11:00AM. Visitng hours on Thurs. from 4-8PM.
