Obituary of Elsie L. Merry

Elsie L. (Monti) Merry of Kingston passed away January 24th at the age of 91. Elsie was the wife of the late Norman F. Merry. She is survived by her children; Cynthia Anne Merry of Kingston and John W. Merry of Carver. Elsie is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and her brother Enzo J. Monti of Plymouth. Elsie was raised in Plymouth and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1936. She worked for WT Grant Co. in Plymouth for 25 years as a Sales Clerk and a Dept. Manager. She was a resident of Kingston for over 60 years and belonged to many groups such as; Kingston Council on Aging, Kingston Senior Citizens Club, Emblem Club in Plymouth, Golden Ages of Plymouth and Mater Dei Guild through St. Joseph’s Church in Kingston. Elsie also loved to travel. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday January 28th at 9am at St. Joseph’s Church, Kingston MA and interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Kingston, MA. Calling hours will be held Wednesday January 27th from 4-7pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (rte 106) Kingston MA.
