Obituary of Raymond W. Forsstrom

Raymond Winfield Forsstrom, 90, of Halifax, died Jan. 9 in St. Petersburg, FL. He was the second of seven children of Charles and Maude Forsstrom. Beloved husband of the late Anne Lincoln Forsstrom. He is survived by three children, Dr. Barbara Forsstrom of Jamesville, NY, Kathryn Forsstrom of Cambridge, MA and Paul Forsstrom of Halifax, seven grandchildren, Justin, Melissa, Michael and Benjamin Cohen of NY, Leigh Forsstrom of NY, and Matthew and Joel Forsstrom of Halifax. Mr. Forsstrom was retired from Armstrong Corporation, and he was a former member of the Halifax Police Dept, as well as a long time member of the Halifax Congregational Church, Farmer's Club, and the American Legion. Memorial donations may be made to the Halifax Congregational Church Memorial Fund, 503 Plymouth St., Halifax, MA 02338. Visiting hours from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke Center on Fri. Jan. 15 from 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Sat. Jan. 16 at the Halifax Congregational Church, Rt. 106 Halifax at 11:00AM. Interment in Central Cemetery, Halifax.
