Bernard E. Munro, Jr posted a condolence

Thank you all for your compassion and kindness. My father had a wish to be with his father, Ronald Munro on Friday, 12-11-09, and so I intended to fly up and drive him in the motorhome down to see him in Florida. I was too late to share the trip with him, but Dad was a determined man and as fate would have it, my grandfather passed on Friday, 12-11-09. So I guess in a way my father and grandfather were able to be together after all. I wanted to follow in his footsteps, but found I could not fill his shoes and gave up trying at an early age. Today, in spirit, both men guide me on my way to a better life. I will always love and miss them both.
Bernie Munro, Jr. (Pat)

Bernie, working with you with all my trials and tribulations, you gave me nothing but great advice. Although you worked through pain,no matter what you always got it done. More than thatour coversations about life, illness, and work inspired me greatly. So long freind, you will be sorely missed, Elliot

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time of sadness.
He was a wonderful man and a joy to work with. I worked often with him when I worked for the Halifax Conservation Commission. Always a smile on his face and he always brought one to mine.
He will be greatly missed; it is nice to know that he has left many good thoughts and smiles on many of his constituants and his friends and family.
Sincerely and again my prayers are with you all
