Edna F. Volpe of Carver and Billerica died on Dec 7, 2009 at the Wingate at Lowell Nursing Home at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late William N. Volpe. Mother of William C. Volpe of Plymouth and the late Lawrence R. Volpe. Mother in Law Anne Volpe of W. Yarmouth. Sister of Kay Towne of Medford. Grandmother of William Volpe of Nashua NH, Robert Volpe of Tewksbury, Brian Volpe of Billerica, Kelly Montana of Marshfield and Laura Boynton of Milton. Great Grandmother of 6. Calling Hours will be held on Thur Dec 10, 2009 at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St Carver (Rt 58) from 4-8pm. Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Friday Dec 11, 2009 at 9am , followed by a mass at St Peter's Church in Plymouth at 10am. A reception will follow the mass at the Church Hall. All other services will be private.
