Obituary of Doreen Blaettler

Doreen Blaettler of Pembroke passed away unexpectedly Dec. 3, 2009 at the age of 48. Doreen was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Francis Blaettler and Ida (Mastrianni) Blaettler of NC. She was a graduate of Union Hill High School in Union City NJ and also attended Jersey City State College. Doreen is survived by her brothers; Joe Blaettler and his wife Patricia of NJ, Garry Blaettler of NY and her sister, Joanne Calzaretta and her husband Joe of NC. Doreen leaves her beloved friend Heidi Schluter and her extended family of Pembroke. Doreen is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Charles, Sam and Nina Blaettler, Joseph Calzaretta and his wife Rachel, Christopher Calzaretta as well as her Great Niece Emily and Great Nephew Joseph. Memorial calling hours will be held Sunday December 6th from 7-9pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte 14) Pembroke Center Pembroke MA. Additional calling hours will be held Monday December 7th from 10-11 am with a Memorial Service to follow at the funeral home at 11am. Burial is private.
