To the family of Doris Handy: Your wonderful mother and father and my parents, Lillians and Morison Shirley of Walthem, were friends. I believe Doris and Lillian met at BU, as my mother earned a degree from there as well. I remember visiting as children when you were children and going to the beach together at Duxbury Beach. My mom passed away in 1996. We all have been exchanging greetings and memories about your parents and visiting with your family by email today, after my brother Mike read the obituary of your mom.
