Robert W. Burke,JR of Halifax died on Oct 9,2009 at the Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston at the age of 71. He was the husband of Maria (Galante) Burke of Halifax. Father of Robert Burke of Plymouth, Paul Burke of Essex, VT and Dennis Burke of Mansfield. Brother of Roberta Linehan of Peabody and Anne Smith of Pembroke. Grandfather of Meghan, Katherine, Paige, Anna, Sean and Deirdre. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday Oct13,2009 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home (PEMBROKE CENTER RT 14). Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday Oct 14,2009 at 9am, followed by a mass at St Joseph's the Worker Church in Hanson at 10am. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Pembroke. Donations can be made to Dana Farber 44 Binney St. Boston Ma 02115.
