Obituary of William H. Davis

William Henry Davis, of Hingham, died on September 27, 2009. Mr. Davis was a longtime car enthusiast, and enjoyed racing sports cars in his younger years. Mr. Davis graduated from Babson College in 1959. Mr. Davis later earned his pilots license. He was a longtime local businessman, bringing English sports cars to the South shore in the early seventies. He enjoyed traveling to Lake Winnipesaukee, and Bermuda, and was a also a longtime Red Sox fan. He is survived by his longtime companion Marilyn DiPasquale of Hingham. Father of Andrew Davis of Kingston, and Karen Begin of Sanford, ME. Brother of Diane Hiss of Monterey, CA. Grandfather of four. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 2nd from 6-8:00PM, with a service set to begin at 7:30PM, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston.
