William R. "Bill" Whitehouse died Sept. 18 at his home in Duxbury surrounded by his loving family He was 79. He was the beloved husband of 57 years of Lorraine (April) Whitehouse. Loving father of William R. Whitehouse, Jr. of Duxbury. Theresa L. Woodward Of Duxbury, Sally A. Bolster of Duxbury, Mary E. Kramer of Duxbury, Kathleen W. Shields of Duxbury, Paul D. Whitehouse of Luxembourg, Pamela S. Habel of Marshfield, Karen E. McLeod of Duxbury, and Jennifer L. Tewksbury of Plymouth. Devoted grandfather of 24 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Brother of Eugene Whitehouse of NH, Ralph A. Whitehouse of Plymouth, Phyllis L. Ponte of Middleboro, and the late Sandra P. Gruchy, and the late Mary E. Nudd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. Rt. 106, Kingston on Tues. Sept.22 at 9:00AM, followed by a funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, Duxbury at 10:00AM. Visiting hours on Mon. 4-8PM. Interment will be private. Because of Bill's love of animals, memorial donations may be made to the Duxbury Animal Shelter, 878 Tremont St., Duxbury, MA 02332.
