Obituary of Edwina D. Wood

Edwina D. Wood of Plympton died at her home on Sept 12, 2009 at the age of 94. She was the mother of Harry Wood and his wife Yvette of Somerset and Richard Larkin and his wife Nancy of Lincoln, Maine. Sister of the late Muriel Greene and Mabel O'Brien.Garndmother of Paul Wood, Mark Wood, Jeffrey Wood, James Wood, Dawn Cahill, Kristen Waterman, Stacey Larkin and the late James Wood. Great- Grandmother of 17. She is also survived by her nephews Richard MacNeil and his wife Virginia of Middleboro and John Green. Edwina was a graduate of Bridgewater State College 1964-1968, and was a elementary teacher retiring in 1981 after 12 years. Member of the Plympton Garden Club, Plympton Council on Aging, Plympton Historical Society and the Mayflower Society. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Plympton Congregational Church, Main St (RT 58).
