Obituary of Charlotte Alander

Charlotte (McIlvana) Alander of Duxbury passed away September 8th at her home at the age of 87. Mrs. Alander was a Homemaker and she enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning and sewing. Born in Boston to the late William and Sara (Coleman) McIlvana, Charlotte attended Plymouth Schools. She is survived by her three daughters; Charlotte Flockton and her husband Ronald of Duxbury, Arnette Cabral and her husband Steven of Plymouth and Sarah Katzman and her husband Lou of San Diego, a son Ernest Alander and his wife Kathleen of Duxbury. Charlotte is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held Monday Sept. 21st at 10am at Evergreen Cemetery in Kingston MA. Donations can be made in Charlotte’s name to; Cranberry Area Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle Suite 326 Plymouth, MA 02360.
