Doris (Burgess) Gorham, of Duxbury, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died Aug. 11. She was 89. She was the wife of the late William Gorham. Loving sister of Jean Swanborn of Duxbury, Irene Briggs of NC, and the late Helen Lacharite, Ila Marshall, and Cecil Burgess. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including her nephew Edwin Swanborn and his wife Nancy of Duxbury. All funeral services will be private.
