Obituary of Enid L. Torrey

Enid L. Torrey, of Duxbury. August 10, 2009, she was 89 years old. Beloved wife of the late Earl W. Torrey. Loving mother of Susan MacFarlane and her husband Raymond of Duxbury, John Torrey of Duxbury, Carol Quirke and her husband John of Plymouth, and the late David Torrey. Daughter of the late John and Margaret Cohen. Sister of Dorothea Moore of S. Dennis, Mary Grubb and her husband Max of NC, Madeline Litchfield of Plymouth, and the late Margaret Hill, Alice Lunt, Ethel Mori, Walter Cohen, Arnold Cohen, and Florence Ramsey. Sister in law of Joan Cohen of Kingston, and Dorothy Torrey of Kingston. Enid is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 13th from 4-8:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Friday, August 14th at 10:00AM. Internment will be at the Mayflower cemetery in Duxbury.
