Walter A. Braley, a long time Carver resident, died on July 29, 2009. He was 66 years old. Mr. Braley is a graduate of Middleboro High School. He is a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, and served on USS Castle Rock. Mr. Braley was an auto body mechanic at Miskinis in E. Bridgewater for over 25 years.
Beloved husband of Patricia (O’Brien) Braley of E. Bridgewater, and pre deceased by his first wife Sharon (Pittsley) Braley. Loving father of Mellenie (Braley) Lanoue of Carver, and Michelle (Braley) Green of Roseboro, NC. Grandfather of Matthew Braley, Allyssa Green, Kyle Green, Jacob Green, and Logan Green all of Roseboro, NC. Falon Richards – Foster, Daughter of Taunton. Son of Leona Kelley of GA. Brother of Peggy Priem, and Ruth Sammons both of GA, and Leona Cerkovitz of ME. Walter is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, August 2nd, from 3-7:00 PM, with a prayer service set to begin at 6:30PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58), Carver. Internment will be private.
