Robert Schlager of Pembroke died on July 7,2009 at his home at the age of 44. He was the husband of the late Eileen McCarron-Schlager. Father of Payton Schlager of Pembroke, Madeline Schlager of Pembroke, Robert Schlager of Pembroke and Heather Schlager of Brockton. Son of Bonny Aileen Douglas of Pembroke and Richard James Schlager of Quincy. Brother of Kelly Aileen Schlager of Pembroke, Richard James Schlager of Pembroke, Michael Schlager of Pembroke and Kevin Schlager of CO. Grandfather of Emily Schlager and Charlie McKavenia. Son in Law of Madeline McCarron-Snow and her husband Austin. He is survived by many nieces and nephews including Dakota Schlager. Calling Hours will be held on Thur. July 9, 2009 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home Route 14 Pembroke Center. Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Friday July 10,2009 at 8am followed by a mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson at 9am. Burial will be private. Donations can be made to East Bridgewater Saving Bank 115 Center St Pembroke MA 02359 C/O Robert' s Children.
