Paul R FitzGerald 83, of Kingston, a retired CPA. Worked for many years as a CPA for the government in the Dept of Health, Welfare, and Education, died Saturday May 30 2009, at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. Mr. FitzGerald served in the Army Air Corps in WWII. Born in Spencer Ma, he graduated from David Prouty High School, Paul Graduated from Clark University in Worcester Ma where he earned an accounting Degree. He enjoyed spending winters in Florida, playing Golf, and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen (O’Brien), a son James FitzGerald and his wife Annette of Belgium a daughter Kathy Mundy of Rhode Island. Brother of Eileen Antell of Spencer. He is survived by Grandson Christopher FitzGerald, Niece Lois Riordan of Plymouth, and Nephew Paul Beckman of Duxbury, and many great nephews, great niece, and great grandchildren. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rte. 106) Kingston, on Monday May 8, at 9:00 A.M., followed by a Funeral Mass at Holy Family Church, Duxbury, at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Mayflower Cemetery. Visiting hours on Sunday 4-7 P.M. Donations in his memory may be made to DAV National Headquarters 807 Main Ave S.W. Washington , DC.
