Pantaleone A. Froio, (Poppi) of Middleboro passed away after a long battle with cancer on May 28, 2009. He was 80 years old. Beloved husband of Rosemarie Froio. Loving father of Cheryl Toner of Kingston, and Karen Hughes of Halifax. Father-in-law to Robert Toner, and Paul Hughes. Brother of Gregory Froio of Brockton. Cherished grandfather of Olivia Hughes. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 1st from 3-8:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, 272 Main St, Kingston on Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:00AM. Internment will be at Evergreen cemetery in Kingston. Donations may be made to: Dana Farber Cancer Institute, The Lank Center, 44 Binney St, Boston, MA 02115.
