Henry F. Monroe Jr., 95 of Duxbury, formerly of Hanson and Whitman died Sun. May 10th at the Jordan Hospital after a lengthy illness. Henry was born and raised in Hanson, and was married for 64 years to the late Florence E. (Lamborghini) Monroe. Henry served in the US Army during WW II. He delivered milk for A.R. Parker and H.P. Hood Co. for many years, and was a custodian/maintenance man for the Whitman School Dept. for 20 years. He is survived by his daughter Bonnie Jean Molin of Stoughton, son Richard Monroe of W. Allis, WI, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. All services are private. Donations can be made in Henry’s name to: The Perkins School for the Blind 175 No. Beacon St. Watertown, MA 02472 or to the Veteran’s Organization of your choice.
