Obituary of Joanne M. Craig

Joanne M. Daniels Craig, 50, of Pembroke, passed away May 2 at Massachusetts General Hospital after complications from a devastating illness. Joanne found the most joy in life spending time with her family and coaching Pembroke Youth Soccer with her husband Jeff. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and crocheting. Joanne was born and raised in Holbrook, spent time in East Bridgewater, and finally settled in her home in Pembroke. Joanne was a bookkeeper by trade for over 20 years. Joanne was the daughter of Jimmy Daniels of FL and the late Pat Kelley Daniels. She was the wife of Jeff Craig, and the mother of Lindsay and Paul Bertoni, of Pembroke.She was the sister of Jim and Michelle Daniels of Scituate, and Patty and Steve Vasilchuk of Stoneham. She was auntie JoJo to 5 nieces and nephews. She was the stepmother of Jeff, Saran, Brianna, and Rikki Craig, all of East Bridgewater. She was Nana to Dominic and Avery Craig of Carver. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Fri. May 8 from 4:30-7:00PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke. Memorial donations may be made to the Joanne M. Craig Memorial Fund, c/o Rockland Trust, to benefit her children.
