Obituary of Forrest R. Johnson

Forrest R. Johnson, “Snooky”, of S. Dennis and formerly of Halifax, passed away suddenly at his home on March 27th. He was 67 years old. Born in Plymouth on January 1, 1942, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Mary Cianfarani. He is a graduate of Silver Lake High School in Kingston. Mr. Johnson was an architectural designer, master carpenter, and a professional truck driver. He enjoyed boating, camping, gardening, fishing, yard sales, and his dog Gummy. Beloved husband of 43 years to Antoinette “Nettie” Johnson. Loving father of Shawn Johnson and Stacey of Plymouth, Darren and Teresa Johnson of Harwich, Dianna and Raylene Studley of S. Dennis, and the late Robert W. Johnson. Former husband of the late Geraldine Kennedy Johnson. Grandfather of Shawn Jr., Derrick, Brianna, Dylan Robert Johnson, and Andria Donahue. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, from 10-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rt. 14) Pembroke. Internment will be at Central cemetery in Halifax. A gathering will be held at 7 Kinghenry Road Harwich MA at 1pm following the burial.
