Obituary of Edwin F. Young

Edwin F. Young, Jr., 86, of Plymouth, formerly of Pembroke, died at his home Mar.24. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores (DeCosta) Young. Loving father of Linda Pippen of CA, Edwin F. Young, III and his wife Annie of Pembroke, Stacey Proctor of Quincy, Mimi Koppang of Plymouth, Julie Kelly of Plymouth, and Tony Young of Plymouth. Grandfather of Michael, Shannon, Andrew, Katie, William, Raphael, Ryan. and Winnie. Brother of Marjorie O’Brien of Missouri. Mr. Young served in the US Navy during WWII and the US Coast Guard during the Korean War. Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke, on Tues. Mar. 31 at 9:00AM, followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Hanson at 10:00AM. Interment in the MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30PM. Visitng hours on Mon. from 6-8PM.
