Beverly L. ( Morse) Chaplain, 76 of Greenfield Center, NY, formally of Kingston and Brockton, MA died peacefully at home , Wed. March 11, 2009 after a long battle with MS. Born and raised in Hanover, MA she was the daughter of the late Vernon G. and Gladys A. (Fosdick) Morse. She graduated from Hanover H.S. in 1950 and attended The University of ME. She worked at the Avon Co-op Egg Auction for many years as well as for Canine Specialties in Avon, MA until she retired due to her MS. In addition to her parents, Bev was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Donald W. Chaplain. She is survived by her children Lynn A. Lindsay of Greenfield Center, NY, Gregory A. Chaplain of Porter Corners NY , Michael C. Chaplain of Kingston, MA, Jane K. Chaplain of Brockton, MA, four grandchildren, Jennifer L. Bouchard of Brockton, MA, Jillian L. Bouchard of Hull, MA, Kevin M. and Kory B. Lindsay of Greenfield Center, NY , two great-grandchildren, Stephon X. and Aubrey M. Lindsay of Greenfield Center, NY , her brother William L. (Priscilla) Morse of Hanover, MA, her sister Janice L. (Frank) Colombo of Sandwich, MA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held Mon. March 16th from 4-8pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston, MA. A funeral service will be held Tues. March 17th at 10am at the First Congregational Church of Hanover on Hanover St. in Hanover, MA burial will follow at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA at 12:30pm. Donations can be made to the National MS Society PO Box 4527 New York, NY 10163.
