Obituary of Alice J. Thatcher

Alice J. Thatcher, 79, of Carver, died Feb. 19. Daughter of the late Frank and Clementina (Roderigues) Thatcher. Beloved mother of Len Thatcher and his wife Roxanne, of Carver. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Ashley, and Alexandria Thatcher, all of Carver. Sister of Domingo Thatcher of Carver and the late Antone Thatcher, Mary Pina, Thomas Thatcher, Rose Thatcher and Arthur Thatcher. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sat. Mar. 14 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Rt. 58, Carver at 9:00AM. Burial will be private. Family and friends are invited to a memorial breakfast at the St. John the Baptist Club, 53 Silva St., Carver at 11:00AM. Donations in Alice’s memory for a memorial fence at the St. John the Baptist Club may be made to the Alice Jane Thatcher Memorial Fund, c/o Rockland Trust Bank, 124 Main St., Carver, MA 02330 .
