Obituary of Evelyn Madden

Evelyn Madden (Nichols) of Pembroke died on March 3,2009 at her home at the age of 88. She was the wife of the late William J. Madden. Mother of Stephen J., Richard B. Madden of Pembroke and the late Bonnie J. Madden. Sister of the late Howard W. Nichols Jr. Grandmother of Adele A. Madden of Marshfield and Colleen N. Roberts of Halifax. Great Grandmother of Rachel Robert of Halifax. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn has lived in Pembroke since 1961, worked as a dietician aide at the Plymouth County Hospital in Hanson. She was a member of the Eastern Star Wampatuck Division, enjoyed painting in water colors,knitting and sewing. Calling Hours will be held on Thur March 5,2009 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home (Rt 14 PEMBROKE CENTER). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 6, 2009 at the funeral home at 9am followed by a burial at Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
