Obituary of Doris S. Ward

Doris S. Ward (Eames) of Carver died on Feb.28,2009 at the Life Care Center of Plymouth at the age of 96. She was the wife of the late Austin S. Ward. Mother of Sandra Musante and her husband Gene of Carver and Stephen Ward and his wife Linda of Brockton. Sister of Thalia Carmichael of Carver and the late Gladys Burgess, Flora Jorgensen, Hattie Merritt, Andrew Eames, Embert Eames, Pauline Ward and Lois Penniman. Grandmother of; Barry and his wife Cindy, James and Laura Turner. Doris was a life long resident of Carver, was the daughter of Embert and Eliza (Shurtleff) Eames. She worked for the Country Commission Office in Plymouth until her retirement. Calling Hours will be held on Wed. March 4, 2009 from 4-7pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St (RT58) Carver. A Funeral Service will be held on Thur. March 5, 2009 at 10am at the United Parish Church in Carver. Burial will be in Lakenham Cemetery in No. Carver.
