Obituary of Catherine A. Busa

Catherine A. (Renaghan) Busa, 66 of Pembroke formerly of Roslindale passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 25, 2009. She was the wife of 44 years of Alfred S. Busa Jr.; daughter of the late Albert and Catherine B. Renaghan. Catherine (Kay) leaves behind three daughters; Anne M. Babcock of Plymouth, Donna J. Hughes of Fayetteville, NC and Teresa A. Foisy of Plymouth and one son Anthony J. Busa of Ledgewood, NJ. She is survived by a brother, Albert M. Renaghan, of Bellingham; and aunt, Elizabeth Faulkner, of Waltham as well as five loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and an extended circle of friends and family. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Kay enjoyed family, Christmas, watching sports-especially her beloved New England Patriots and her Catholic faith. She was formerly active in the North Pembroke PTO and Silver Lake Youth Football. Calling hours will be held Sun. March 1st from 3-7 pm at Shepherd Funeral Home (Rte 14) Pembroke Center. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home Mon. March 2nd at 9:30am with a funeral mass to follow at St. Mary’s Church in Hanover at 11am. Burial will be at The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery in W. Roxbury. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: American Diabetes Assoc. 330 Congress St. 5th Fl. Boston MA 02210
