Robert J. Ceurvels of Rochester formerly of Pembroke passed away Feb. 23, 2009 at the age of 63. He is survived by his loving wife Joanne (Chambers) Ceurvels of Rochester, brothers; Thomas Ceurvels of Quincy, Herbert Ceurvels of Quincy, and William Ceurvels of So. Boston. Sister Margaret Anderson of CA and many nieces & nephews. Robert was born in Boston to Herman Ceurvels and Margaret (O’Toole) Ceurvels and attended Boston Schools. Robert worked for the MBTA for 25 years and resided in Pembroke for 30 years before moving to Rochester. Calling hours will be held Thurs. Feb. 26, 2009 from 4-8pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte 14) Pembroke Center, Pembroke MA. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home Fri. Feb. 27, 2009 at 9am with a funeral mass to follow at St. Joseph the Worker in Hanson at 10am. Burial will be in Center Cemetery Pembroke MA. Donations can be made to the Jordan Hospital Cancer Center 275 Sandwich St. Plymouth MA 02360.
