Obituary of Thomas B. Roberts

Thomas Bingham Roberts of Middleboro formally of Hanson died at his home on Feb 3,2009 at the age of 71. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Lane) Roberts of Middleboro. Father of Jennifer Reilly and her husband Kevin of Kingston and Kenneth Roberts and his wife Michelle of Hanson. Brother of Jane Miller-Paquette of E.Taunton. Grandfather of Megan,Cameron,Chloe and Devon.Thomas was born in Weymouth, was a graduate of Braintree HS,lived in Hanson for 38 years before moving to Middleboro 8 years ago.Thomas worked as a machinist at Ab-Wey in Pembroke for 20years, was a Korean War Veteran serving in the Air Force in Germany and France. Thomas was involved in the Town of Hanson sports and was a active member and Deacon at the Silver Lake Chapel in Plympton. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday Feb 8,2009 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St (Rt106) Kingston Ma. A funeral Services will be held on Mon Feb. 9,2009 at the Silver Lake Chapel 33 Lake St Plympton Ma. at 10am followed by a burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:30. Donations can be made to Cerebral Palsy of Massachusetts, 43 Old Colony Ave. Quincy, Massachusetts 02170 to help Thomas's grandchild Devon and others who are living with Cerebral Palsy.
