Obituary of Wanda C. Curtin

Wanda C. (Schneider) Curtin of Pembroke passed away on Dec. 15, 2008, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Robert Curtin of Pembroke, loving mother of Jane Jensen of Weymouth, William Curtin and his wife of Hanson, Robert Curtin Jr., of Indian Head MD, sister of Jean Schneider of Plymouth and Paul Schneider of Pembroke. Wanda is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 4 Nieces and 3 Nephews. She was a Nurses Aide at the Carney Hospital in Dorchester and also a Laundry Aide for the Doctor’s Hospital in Roslindale. Wanda enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, bingo, knitting, crocheting, watching hockey and spending time with her family and her sister and brother were also very important to her. Visitation will be Mon. Dec. 22, 2008 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St. Pembroke Center. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Funeral Home Tues. at 9am with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10am at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Hanson MA. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Pembroke.
