Jesse (Jess) Alan Crudup of Pembroke, 27 years old passed away suddenly December 13, 2008 at the South Shore Hospital. He was the loving son of Lawney and Elaine Crudup of Pembroke. Brother of Alyssa Jensen and Terri Lyn Crudup, and uncle of Ashleigh and Justin Jensen and Hailey Barros. His family members include many aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was a graduate of Silver Lake HS where he played football and was in the Silver Lake Youth Football organization for 6 years where he was part of 2 Super Bowl championship teams. Jesse enlisted as an Army Reserve and became a Military Police Officer in the 94th MP Co. based in NH. He was deployed to Iraq from 2002-2004, having been extended for 6 months twice. His dream was to become a Pembroke Police Officer. Jesse enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, taking walks, bike riding, and grilling. He especially loved spending time with his family. He has many close friends including Eric and Jamie and his loving girlfriend Jessica. Jesse was an all around extraordinary young man. Calling hours will be Thurs. Dec. 18, 2008 from 4-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke Center. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Funeral Home Fri. at 8am with a Funeral Mass to follow at 9am at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Pembroke. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to; The Pembroke Military Support Group c/o Pembroke Town Hall 100 Center St. Pembroke MA 02359.
