Hi. I'm Kristina O'Keefe, Hugh's granddaughter. I'm truly sorry that I was never able to meet you, Hugh. I wish I could have. That is one regret that I will carry with me.
If anyone reads this that is related to Hugh as well, I am deeply sorry. It upsets me that a man could die and no one would even be decent enough to leave a message showing their concern.
I know that Hugh's four children: my aunt, uncles, and dad would have attended the funeral if we had just known. Margaret, you were mentioned in the article online. I'm sorry we could not be there with you. My uncle just received a letter in the mail. A letter. More than a month later...
Just because someone does not keep in touch, doesn't mean that a person isn't in their thoughts and prayers every day. Hugh we never stopped thinking about you. I'm sorry.
