Shirley was always the classiest person in the room. My first experience with Shirley was when she worked as the dental hygienist in the district and then later as the SexEd teacher. She certainly had a way with the kids and was respected by everyone in the school. Pam, I hope you are doing well. I retired 5 years ago and have been making the most of my free time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family in your time of loss.

I often pass your home on my daily trips on the Senior Bus. And I often have wondered how Shirley was and where she was etc. I saw her obituary in the Clipper. I want to share with you that she was a true "lady". I enjoyed taking her to her Alzheimers day care in Kingston 2 days a week. We would often chat going over and coming back. I had to reintroduce myself to her many times but she was a treasure! I wanted to acknowledge her.

I remember Shirley when I was in Bedford Hills Elemtary School, in 1958 or so.. When I married, my husband, Al, was a colleague of Shirley's in Bedford.
Like the Websters, we retired from Mt. Kisco to Cape Cod.
Please accept our condolences, as we remember a sweet woman who apparently was liked by all.
