Obituary of Mary C. Stackhouse

Mary C. (Smith) Stackhouse, 83, of Plymouth, died Nov. 14 at the Jordan Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frederick Stackhouse. She is survived by her children; Donna Smith of Carver, Marybeth Stackhouse Truran of E. Wareham, and John Reed of Hyannis; her six grandchildren; Tammy Garnett of Carver, Peter Fernandes of Taunton, Cari Vermette of Yarmouth, Jacob Reed of PA, Eagan Reed of Yarmouth, and Ellen Reed of Yarmouth, and her eight great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Charles Smith. Mrs. Stackhouse was a postal worker employed on Cape Cod and she also had been employed with the Plymouth Housing Authority. She was a seamstress and an artist. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Fri. Nov.21 at St. Mary’s Church, Plymouth at 10:00AM. Interment in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 12:30PM.
