Obituary of Donna Jean Whowell

Donna Jean Whowell (MacInnes, Horne) of Raynham died on Oct 23,2008 at the Morton Hospital at the age of 56. She was the wife of the late Harold (Chipper) Whowell. Mother of Mark Horne and his wife Tracy of Taunton, and Shawn Whowell and his wife Jeri of Taunton. Sister of Jacqueline Coyne of Carver. Grand Mother of Shawn Whowell JR. Her wonderful companion Russ Scholfield, along with Amy and Jakes. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, many friends and of course Rubie her beloved pet and friend.. Donna was born in Somerville Ma, on May 7,1952 to the late Bess Sorum of Florida and Daniel MacInnes of Somerville. She was a long time resident of Raynham and was educated in Raynham and Easton. Donna worked as a rural route carrier for the US Post Office in Raynham for many years. She was a member of the Raynham American Legion Post and the Middleboro VFW. Her favorite hobbies were singing, laughing with her friends and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday Oct 28,2008 from 6-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home 116 Main St (RT58) Carver, Ma. A Funeral Service will be held on Wed Oct 29,2008 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Carver.
