Ruth “Noni” (Anderson) Dymond, of Pembroke and formerly of Hanson, passed peacefully into rest on October 5th. Born in Boston, Ruth worked in the shipyards during WWII. She was an active member of the Whitman VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary Post 697 and the MASS DPW retirees club, as well as an avid reader, traveler, dancer, and gourmet cook. Beloved wife of the late Edward S. Dymond and longtime companion of Wilfred Roberts of Whitman. Loving mother of her daughter Noel Cross and her husband Gerd. Adored grandmother of Dr. Megan Hannon and her husband John, Matthew, Nicole and Jonathan Cross all of Pembroke. Devoted sister of Phyllis Andrews of Hanson. Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rt. 14) Pembroke on Wednesday October 8th from 4-8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 580 Monponsett St. (Rt. 58), Halifax on Thursday, October 9th at 10:00 AM. Internment to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
