Anne (Kirby) McCarthy of Duxbury died on Aug 30,2008 at her home in Duxbury at the age of 78. She was the wife of the late Francis McCarthy. Mother of Paula Haswell of NE, Susan Hadley of R.I, Janet Traves of OR, Jeanne Kittredge of Duxbury and the late Stephen M. McCarthy. Sister of Gerard Kirby of Duxbury and Jeanne Mahoney of Brant Rock. 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren also survive her. Family and Friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston Ma, on Thur. Sept 4,2008 at 9am followed by a mass at Holy Family Church in Duxbury at 10am. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury. Donations can be made to the Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326 Plymouth MA 02360.
