Obituary of Wesley A. Nickerson

Wesley A. Nickerson of Plymouth formerly of Pembroke passed away Aug. 12, 2008 at the Jordan Hospital. Wesley was predeceased by his wife of 48 years Bettina (Wadsworth) Nickerson. He is survived by his 3 children: Joel Nickerson, Melodie Breen, and Scott Nickerson all of Plymouth. Six grandchildren: Elise Nickerson, Christopher Breen, Joseph Nickerson, Matthew Nickerson, Benjamin Breen, Alicia Nickerson and one great-grandson: Joseph Nickerson. Wesley was born and raised in Plymouth MA and was a graduate of Plymouth High School class of 1941. Member of the US Navy during WWII from 1943 -1946, he was a Master Electrician and was employed by Brockton Edison/Eastern Edison from 1954 – 1988. Wesley was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years, and a Freemason. He moved to Pembroke MA to raise his family to then return to Plymouth in 1985. He enjoyed walking around the Plymouth area and greatly enjoyed his family and friends. Memorial Calling Hours will be held Sun. Aug. 17, 2008 from 1:00 – 4:00pm Shepherd Funeral Home 216 Main St. (Rte 106) Kingston, with a service to follow at the funeral home at 4pm. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 311 Arsenal St. Watertown MA 02472.All friends and family are welcome to the Hilltop Club on Puddle St. in Kingston from 5-8pm.
