I recall and admired a man of character, warmth and generosity. Joffrey gave up over a week’s vacation to memorize a 26 page manuscript. He then gave a riveting one man performance of The Passion a Morality Play on the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ. He did this for St. Joseph Church for several years and refused any stipend or recognition. During St Joseph’s Generation of Faith, he performed for over a 1000 Max Lucado’s The Gift, again refusing a stipend. He had my Irish-born father convinced he was also Irish-born with his St. Joseph Talent Show performance of an Irishman performing Shakespeare. I will miss him and our periodic breakfasts. May God Bless and until we meet again, May God hold Joffrey in the palm of His hand.
