Obituary of Douglas O. Rimbach

Douglas O. Rimbach of Carver, and formerly of Middleboro died on June 14, 2008. He was 80 years old. Mr. Rimbach served during both the Korea and Vietnam wars, where he earned the Cross of Valor as well as the Bronze Star. While formerly of Middleboro, Mr. Rimbach attended the Central Baptist Church, and was a volunteer with the Food Pantry Outreach program for several years. Most recently he, and his wife Morna, have been members of the Plymouth Rock Bible Church in Plymouth. He also enjoyed his association with the Church at the Green in Middleboro. Mr. Rimbach was a member of Gideon’s Society as well as the VFW Post 2188 in Middleboro. Mr. Rimbach is survived by his Wife Morna (Fogg) Rimbach of Carver. Father of Dean A. and his wife Brenda B. Rimbach of AZ. Brother of Marella (Rimbach) Guigou of CA, and the late F.L. (Fred) Rimbach and Carolyn (Rimbach) Woodbury. Grandfather of Aaron Douglas Rimbach of TX, and Staci A. Rimbach of TX. Uncle of Lisa Rimbach and her Husband Patrick Warren of Cape Cod, and Jonathan Rimbach of Boston as well as other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st at 10:30 AM at the Plymouth Rock Bible Church, 267 Carver Rd, Plymouth.
